In this role, you will play a vital part in diagnosing and treating cardiac conditions, utilizing advanced interventional procedures. As a Locum Physician, you will work closely with our team to provide high-quality care and ensure patient success through state-of-the-art techniques in interventional cardiology. **JOB DETAILS:**

*Practice Setting:** Inpatient/On-Call

**Schedule:**

- **Onsite Staffing (Weekdays):** Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM  

- **On-Call (Weekday Evenings):** Monday – Friday, 5:00 PM – 7:00 AM  

- **On-Call (Weekends):** Saturday 7:00 AM – Monday 7:00 AM   -

 **Rounding Responsibilities:** Potential for some rounding duties.  

- **Call Schedule:** STEMI call aligned with unassigned call and noninvasive coverage.  

- **Call Ratio:** 9 VCS to 7 RHV (TBD).  

- **Average Inpatient Admissions Per Physician:** Greater than 2 daily.  

- **Trauma Level/Designation:** None.  

**Patient Demographics:**  

-Adult and geriatric populations.

**Documentation System/EMR:**  

- EPIC

**Procedures Required:**   - Balloon Angioplasties  

- Coronary Angioplasty   - Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI)  

- Heart Catheterization  

- Medical Management of Vascular Disease  

- Coronary Angiograms  

- Embolic Protection  

- Carotid Artery Stenting  

- Atherectomy  

**Qualifications:**  

- Board Certified  

- BLS/ACLS certified  

- Active Virginia state medical license  

- Clean malpractice history  

- Submission of a Self-Query NPDB report is mandatory.
