**Dates of Coverage:** As soon as you are approved to work.
**Reason for Coverage:** We are looking for a permanent doctor for Body Imaging.
**Practice Setting:** You will work in a hospital. Doctors will read medical images from three different places but will mostly work at LUMC. We welcome doctors who can work from home if they have good experience in body imaging.
**Call Schedule:** The call schedule is flexible.
**Call Ratio:** The amount you are on call is flexible.
**Average Number of Cases Per Day:
** The number of cases varies. You might read about 30-35 CT scans, or 100 X-rays, or 60 ultrasounds each day.
**Trauma Level/Designation:**
- LUMC: Trauma I (high level) - GMH: Trauma II - MNH: Trauma II
**Documentation System/EMR:** You will use Epic, PowerScribe, Intelerad PACs, and Softek Illuminate for documenting your work.
**Number of Radiologists in Practice:**
There are 40 full-time doctors in the department. 9 read CT scans and 4 read body MRI scans.
**Patient Age Demographic:
** You will see patients of all ages. (No need for locum to read for children.)
**Estimated Credentialing Timeframe:** It will take about 3 months to get approved.
**Procedures Required:** - CT scans - Ultrasounds - Body MRI scans
**Qualifications:**
- You must be Board Certified.
- You need an Illinois State License.
- You must have BLS certification.
- Remote work is allowed, but being on-site is preferred.
- You must have completed a fellowship in Body Imaging.
- You need CDS Certification and DEA Registration.
