The provider will help for about 6 months before moving to a permanent position.
**JOB DETAILS:**

**Shift Details:** 9 hours, different times. -
**Patient Volume:** Care for about 1.4 patients every hour. -
**EMR System:** Using EPIC for patient records. - **Shift Length:** 10 to 12 hours each shift. -
**Work Setting:** Hospital, Level II Trauma Center. -
**No midlevel provider available.**
**Required Skills:**
- Ability to do intubation (putting a tube in the throat to help breathing).
- Ability to insert chest tubes (for removing air or fluid from the chest).
- Ability to place central lines (to give medicine or fluids).
- Ability to perform procedural sedation (putting patients to sleep for minor procedures).
- Experience in OB/GYN procedures and delivering babies.
- Skills in adult and child resuscitation (helping someone who stops breathing or their heart stops).
**Qualifications:**
- Must be Board Certified by ABEM (American Board of Emergency Medicine).
- Must have PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), ATLS (Advanced Trauma Life Support), and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications.
- Must have an active North Dakota medical license. - DEA Registration is required (for prescribing medications).
