**Job Description for Physician in Obstetrics and Gynecology**
We are looking for a doctor who wants to work in a hospital that focuses on providing excellent care for pregnant women and their babies.
**Duties:** - You will care for about 13 to 14 patients each day in different settings, including the hospital, clinic, and during patient visits.
- You will use a computer system called EPIC to keep track of patients’ information and care.
**Work Schedule:** - You will work five to six shifts each month. Each shift is 24 hours long, starting at 7:00 AM and ending at 7:00 AM the next day.
- You will also work some weekends, following the same 24-hour schedule as on weekdays.
- There are no additional on-call hours for this job.
**Delivery Information:**
- You can expect to handle an average of 4 to 5 births each 24-hour shift. Most births will be natural, with about 25% being C-sections. - You must have experience in delivering babies.
*Requirements:** - You must be board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
- You need to have current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and a Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) license before starting.
- You must have the proper state medical license for California or be in the process of getting it.
- You don’t need to have completed a fellowship.
- It's preferred but not mandatory to have 1 to 5 years of work experience in this field.
- We offer a good salary based on your experience, which will be discussed during the interview.

- New graduates or those who are not yet certified cannot apply.
- If you have had issues with malpractice or licenses in the past, we will look at your case individually.
- We also accept candidates who want to work as independent contractors.
**Qualifications:** - Be Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology
– THIS IS REQUIRED. - Please share how many deliveries you have done in a year.
- You must have BLS, ACLS, and DEA certification before starting the job.
- You must have a current California medical license or be in the process of getting one.
- If you have a history of malpractice or licensing issues, please let us know during the application.
- A self-query from NPDB is required.
- Experience of 1-5 years in a similar job is highly preferred.
