**Key Responsibilities**

**Technical Skills**
- You need to have a good understanding of specific accounting issues in the Media & Entertainment (M&E) sector, like how to handle content value, recognize income, and evaluate intellectual property.
- Solve tough accounting problems and explain your solutions clearly, without needing much help from a Partner.
- Use U.S. GAAP rules and industry guidelines to improve our technical skills in the practice.
- Create and lead special training programs focused on the accounting challenges in M&E to support the overall growth of the firm.

**Client Work & Project Management**
- Take charge of all parts of client projects in M&E and handle multiple clients at the same time.
- Be responsible for delivering client work and managing relationships; clients should see you as the leader of the engagement.
- Keep clients informed about any issues and provide well-thought-out solutions.
- Write clear communication for clients, maintain billable hours, and offer great service.
- Ensure that Directors, Senior Managers, Managers, and Consultants are effectively utilized within the M&E practice.

**Practice Growth & Business Development**
- Help grow the practice by finding new clients and opportunities in the M&E industry.
- Look for new chances to work with current clients.
- Build a strong network with key people in the M&E industry.
- Represent and promote the firm by being active in industry events, conferences, and boards related to M&E.
- Help recruit new talent by interviewing candidates and referring them to the firm as the M&E practice expands.

**Compliance, Leadership & Mentorship**
- Follow all rules and submit timesheets on time; encourage the M&E team to comply as well.
- Be responsible for sending out bills and collecting payments.
- Support the professional growth of all staff by acting as a mentor.
- Lead by example: take responsibility for team mistakes, celebrate successes, and show strong ethical behavior and work habits.
- Contribute to the firm’s growth by taking part in important initiatives and community activities.
- Help guide the practice’s future direction and participate in improvements.

**Minimum Requirements**
- You need a CPA and a Bachelor’s Degree (or similar) in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or Commerce, along with 10 years of accounting experience.
- (The employer will accept a 3-year foreign degree as the equivalent of a Bachelor’s degree.)
- Alternatively, you can have a Master’s Degree (or similar) in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or Commerce with 8 years of accounting experience.
