Description
We are currently seeking a skilled Locum CRNA (Nurse Anesthetist). As a vital member of our anesthesiology department, you will play a crucial role in providing anesthesia care to patients undergoing various medical procedures. This position offers the opportunity to work on diverse and challenging projects in a dynamic healthcare environment, making a significant impact on patient outcomes and overall quality of care.
Responsibilities:
- Administer anesthesia before, during, and after medical procedures.
- Monitor patient vital signs and adjust anesthesia levels as needed.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure patient safety and comfort.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Respond promptly to emergency situations and provide appropriate interventions.
- Participate in departmental meetings and training sessions.
- Adhere to all relevant regulations and guidelines related to anesthesia practice.
- Conduct pre-anesthetic assessments and develop anesthesia care plans.
Requirements:
- Valid CRNA certification and state licensure.
- Demonstrated experience in administering various types of anesthesia.
- Strong knowledge of anesthesia equipment and monitoring devices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare setting.
- Attention to detail and strong critical thinking abilities.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing patient needs and surgical procedures.
- Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and privacy.
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7a-5:30p
Weeknight and weekend beeper call shifts
Cases: General, GYN, ENT, vascular, thoracic, urology, etc.
No neuro or spine cases
EMR: Meditech
Board certification required
Paid travel & expenses
