Responsibilities

• Provide emergency medical care to patients in urgent situations
• Conduct thorough assessments and diagnostic evaluations
• Administer treatments according to established protocols
• Stabilize patients and manage critical conditions
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals
• Document patient care accurately and timely
• Participate in ongoing education and training
• Contribute to the development of emergency protocols and procedures

Requirements

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Valid medical license to practice in the state
• Completion of residency in Emergency Medicine
• Strong clinical skills and ability to work in high-pressure environments
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to make quick, informed decisions regarding patient care
• Commitment to continuous professional development
• Experience in emergency medical services is preferred

Schedule: 1,536 hours per year

No call requirement

Annual Volume: 45-50K patients

Lots of geriatrics with increasing acuity levels

60% clinical, 40% administrative

No trauma cases

CVU, vertical care space, observation unit, and fast-track

Will supervise physicians, APPs, and nurses

Must be board-certified or board-eligible
