As a Hospitalist, you will play a vital role in managing patient care, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality medical services. Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive care to hospitalized patients
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop treatment plans
  • Collaborate with specialists and nursing staff for optimal patient care
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
  • Maintain accurate and detailed medical records
  • Participate in clinical rounds and team meetings
  • Educate patients and families about health management
  • Stay current with medical advancements and best practices in Internal Medicine

Requirements

  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
  • Current medical license to practice in the state
  • Experience in Internal Medicine or Hospitalist settings preferred
  • Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
  • Commitment to patient-centered care and continuous improvement
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with electronic health records
  • Shift Information: 12-hour day shifts, 6a-6p or 7a-7p

Schedule: 7 on/7 off

Daily Volume: 18 patients

No procedures required

Full subspecialty support

EMR: Cerner

Must be board certified
