Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and treat patients with infectious diseases
  • Conduct thorough patient examinations and assessments
  • Develop and implement effective treatment plans
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Stay updated on the latest research and advancements in infectious diseases
  • Participate in patient education and counseling
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
  • Contribute to clinical research and quality improvement initiatives

Requirements

  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
  • Board certification or eligibility in Infectious Disease
  • Strong clinical skills and a patient-centered approach
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
  • Prior experience in a clinical setting is preferred
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8a-5p

Minimal beeper call shifts

Setting: Outpatient clinic

Patient Census: 15-20 per day

Caseload: Bread and butter infectious disease

Will act as primary care to patients who are HIV positive

Must be board-certified or board-eligible
