As an Ob/Gyn you will be responsible for delivering high-quality medical care, from routine examinations to complex reproductive health issues. Responsibilities
- Conduct routine and specialized examinations for women’s health
- Diagnose and treat various gynecological conditions
- Manage prenatal and postnatal care for expectant mothers
- Perform surgical procedures as needed
- Maintain detailed patient records and documentation
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals for comprehensive care
- Provide patient education and counseling on health issues
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in obstetrics and gynecology
Requirements
- Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree
- Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Previous clinical experience in a related field (Associate level)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Commitment to patient-centered care and medical ethics
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems
- Current state medical license to practice in Elkhart
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8-hour shifts
Call Requirement: 1:2 rotation, primarily by phone
Patient Volume: 12-18 per day per provider
Duties: High-risk OB consultative practice
No deliveries or procedures required
Must be board-certified
