This full-time, on-site position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a team dedicated to providing exceptional orthopedic care to our patients.
As an Orthopedic Surgeon, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating musculoskeletal conditions, performing surgeries, and developing comprehensive treatment plans tailored to each patient’s needs. Your expertise will not only enhance our surgical capabilities but also significantly improve patient outcomes and satisfaction in our community.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of patients with orthopedic conditions
- Perform surgical procedures and provide postoperative care
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic patient care
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
- Stay current with advancements in orthopedic surgery and treatment techniques
- Educate patients and families about orthopedic conditions and treatment options
- Participate in on-call duties as required
Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree
- Valid medical license to practice in the state of New York
- Completion of an accredited residency in orthopedic surgery
- Strong surgical skills and proficiency in orthopedic procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
- Prior experience in a clinical or surgical setting is preferred
Schedule: 2.5-3 clinic days and 1.5-2 OR days per week
1:6 general orthopedic call rotation, 7 days total per month
Case Mix: Sports and general orthopedics
Current Team Structure: 5 MDs, 12 APPs
Must be board-certified or board-eligible
