This full-time, on-site position offers an incredible opportunity to work within a collaborative environment that prioritizes patient care and medical excellence.

In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing diseases and managing patient care through laboratory analysis and interpretation. As a key member of our medical team, you will contribute to enhancing our pathology services, ensuring high-quality healthcare for our patients. 

Responsibilities

  • Conduct laboratory tests and interpret results to provide accurate diagnoses
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to discuss patient cases
  • Ensure compliance with medical regulations and safety protocols
  • Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives
  • Educate patients and families about test results and treatment options
  • Stay current with advancements in pathology and medical research
  • Supervise and mentor junior medical staff and pathology residents
  • Contribute to the development of departmental policies and procedures

Requirements

  • Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
  • Board certification in Pathology
  • Strong analytical and diagnostic skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and education
  • Experience in a clinical setting is preferred
  • Proficiency in using medical software and technology

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8a-5p

Frozen/Consult Call: 1 weekend day every 6 weeks and 1 weeknight every 3 weeks

Caseload: 40-50% administrative

Academic position

Must have leadership experience

Must have extensive experience in digital implementation

Board-certified in clinical informatics
