Responsibilities

  • Interpret imaging studies, including X-rays, CT scans, and MRIs
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide accurate diagnoses
  • Assist in performing interventional radiology procedures
  • Communicate findings to referring physicians and other providers
  • Maintain accurate and detailed electronic medical records
  • Participate in patient consultations and treatment planning
  • Stay updated with advancements in radiology and imaging technologies
  • Educate patients about procedure processes and safety

Requirements

  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
  • State licensure to practice medicine in Nevada
  • Completion of residency in radiology
  • Strong skills in diagnostic imaging interpretation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Attention to detail and strong analytical thinking
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
  • Commitment to continuous education and professional development
  • Shift Information: 10-hour shifts (7a-5p and 12p-10p)

Schedule: 7 on/7 off

7 shifts per month must be onsite, 8 shifts per month can be remote

No call shifts

80-100 cases per shift

Body MR cases required

Work station provided

EMR: Epic

Board certification required

Fellowship is not required but is preferred
