 This full-time, on-site position provides a unique opportunity to work within a collaborative environment, focusing on delivering exceptional patient care and advanced imaging services.

As a Radiology Body Imaging specialist, you will play a pivotal role in diagnosing and treating patients through the use of cutting-edge imaging technology. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care and contribute to innovative practices that enhance patient outcomes. Your expertise will be essential in interpreting imaging studies and providing critical insights that inform treatment plans.

 

Responsibilities

  • Conduct diagnostic imaging examinations, including CT, MRI, and ultrasound
  • Interpret imaging studies and provide accurate reports
  • Collaborate with other medical professionals to discuss imaging findings
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to optimize patient care
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of advancements in radiology techniques
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols
  • Educate patients and families about imaging procedures and results
  • Contribute to the development of departmental protocols and guidelines

Requirements

  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
  • Board certification in Radiology
  • Experience in body imaging, with a focus on CT and MRI
  • Strong analytical and diagnostic skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
  • Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
  • Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems

Schedule: 8a-5p

Rotating Call Requirement: Weeknights (5p-7a) and weekends (8a-4p)

Setting: Primarily onsite, some remote work possible

Daily Volume: 40-50 cross-sectionals, 250 plain films, or ~100 US

Case Types: 98% body, 2% neuro when on call

Will cover inpatient and outpatient cases

Must be board-certified

Compensation & Benefits:

$550K annual base salary

Up to $100K per quarter in bonusing
