As a Hospitalist, you will play a crucial role in managing the care of hospitalized patients, collaborating with various healthcare professionals to ensure optimal treatment outcomes. Your expertise in Internal Medicine will be essential in diagnosing and treating a wide range of medical conditions, contributing to our mission of providing exceptional healthcare services in the Prescott community.

 

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality inpatient care for hospitalized patients
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop treatment plans
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care
  • Perform procedures as necessary and manage complex cases
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly
  • Educate patients and families about health conditions and treatments
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and hospital committees
  • Stay current with advancements in Internal Medicine and hospital practices

Requirements

  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
  • Active medical license in the state of practice
  • Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine
  • Experience in a hospitalist or similar role preferred
  • Strong clinical skills and knowledge of evidence-based medicine
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
  • Shift Information: 12-hour day shifts, 6a-6p or 7a-7p

Schedule: 7 on/7 off

Daily Volume: 18 patients

No procedures required

Full subspecialty support

EMR: Cerner

Must be board certified
