We are currently seeking an experienced MD (Medical Doctor) or DO (Osteopathic Doctor) specializing in Anesthesiology  In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing anesthesia services to patients undergoing surgical procedures. Your expertise will be vital in ensuring the safety and comfort of patients before, during, and after surgery. As an MD or DO in Anesthesiology you will be involved in a wide range of projects, from administering anesthesia and monitoring patients' vital signs to developing and implementing pain management plans. Your role is essential in the operating room, as you will be responsible for adjusting anesthesia levels based on patients' responses and collaborating closely with surgeons and other medical professionals. Responsibilities:

  • Administer various types of anesthesia to patients based on their medical needs.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and adjust anesthesia levels as required during surgical procedures.
  • Develop and implement pain management plans for post-operative care.
  • Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure patient safety and comfort.
  • Respond promptly to any changes in patients' conditions and take appropriate actions.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and documentation related to anesthesia administration.
  • Stay updated on the latest advancements in anesthesiology and pain management techniques.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient cases and treatment plans.

Requirements:

  • Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Board certification in Anesthesiology.
  • Valid state medical license to practice as an Anesthesiologist.
  • Demonstrated experience in administering various types of anesthesia in a clinical setting.
  • Strong understanding of anesthesia equipment and monitoring devices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.

Schedule: 8-hour day shifts, Monday-Friday

General bread and butter cases including orthopedics, GYN, community OB, abdominal, and general vascular cases

Supervising trainees and CRNAs

Board certification required

Will accept new grads
