We are currently seeking MD (Medical Doctor) or DO (Osteopathic Doctor) candidates specializing in Anesthesiology In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing anesthesia services to patients undergoing surgical procedures. Your expertise will be vital in ensuring the safety and comfort of patients before, during, and after surgery. You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of cases, ranging from routine surgeries to complex medical interventions, making a significant impact on patient outcomes and overall healthcare delivery.

As an Anesthesiologist , you will be involved in diverse projects that require precision, quick thinking, and a deep understanding of anesthesia practices. Your role will be instrumental in collaborating with surgical teams, monitoring patients' vital signs, administering anesthesia, and managing pain before, during, and after procedures. Responsibilities:

  • Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical procedures.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and adjust anesthesia levels as needed.
  • Collaborate with surgeons and healthcare teams to ensure patient safety during procedures.
  • Manage patients' pain levels post-surgery and during recovery.
  • Respond to emergency situations and provide critical care as required.
  • Document patient care accurately and maintain medical records.
  • Stay updated on advancements in anesthesia techniques and technologies.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and professional development activities.

Requirements:

  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
  • Board certification or eligibility in Anesthesiology.
  • Valid state medical license to practice Anesthesiology.
  • Strong knowledge of anesthesia drugs, techniques, and equipment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Commitment to providing high-quality patient care and safety.

Schedule: 2 weeks on/1 week off

1 week of call during 2-week rotation

Team Structure: 4 MDs

Bread & Butter Cases: OB/GYN, general surgery, endoscopy, pediatric dental, orthopedics

Regional skills preferred

Will work independently

Must be board-certified or board-eligible
