We are currently seeking experienced MD (Medical Doctor) or DO (Osteopathic Doctor) specializing in Anesthesiology. As a vital member of our medical team, you will play a crucial role in providing anesthesia services for various surgical procedures. This position offers the opportunity to work on challenging cases, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and make a significant impact on patient outcomes.

As an Anesthesiologist, you will be involved in a wide range of projects, from administering anesthesia and monitoring patient vital signs during surgery to managing pain relief post-operatively. This role requires a high level of expertise, precision, and compassion to ensure the safety and comfort of patients throughout their surgical experience. Responsibilities:

  • Administer various types of anesthesia before, during, and after surgical procedures.
  • Monitor and manage patient vital signs throughout the anesthesia process.
  • Evaluate patients preoperatively to determine the appropriate anesthesia plan.
  • Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
  • Manage and treat post-operative pain to promote patient comfort and recovery.
  • Respond to emergency situations and provide critical care as needed.
  • Stay updated on advancements in anesthesia techniques and technologies.
  • Document patient care accurately and maintain medical records.

Requirements:

  • Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Board certification in Anesthesiology.
  • Valid state medical license to practice Anesthesiology.
  • Demonstrated experience in providing anesthesia services in a clinical setting.
  • Strong knowledge of anesthesia drugs, techniques, and equipment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and make quick decisions.
  • Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7a-3:30p

1:5 backup call rotation, CRNAs take first call

Cases: General surgery, thoracic, vascular, OB/maternity, ENT, ophthalmology, ortho, urology, minimal peds

No heads, hearts, or spines

Medically-directed, overseeing 4 CRNAs

Must be board-certified
