We are currently seeking experienced MD (Medical Doctor) or DO (Osteopathic Doctor) specializing in Cardiology  In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing specialized medical care to patients with heart conditions. Your expertise will be instrumental in diagnosing, treating, and managing various cardiac issues, ensuring the well-being of our patients.

As a Cardiologist  you will be involved in cutting-edge cardiology projects, utilizing the latest advancements in medical technology and research. Your role is vital in contributing to the overall success of our healthcare team and in delivering high-quality cardiac care services. Responsibilities:

  • Conducting thorough patient consultations and medical examinations
  • Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests such as ECGs, echocardiograms, and stress tests
  • Developing comprehensive treatment plans for patients with heart conditions
  • Performing interventional procedures including angioplasty and stent placement
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care
  • Monitoring and managing patients in critical care settings
  • Providing patient education on heart disease prevention and management
  • Participating in research studies and clinical trials related to cardiology

Requirements:

  • Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
  • Board certification in Cardiology
  • Valid state medical license to practice as a Cardiologist
  • Demonstrated experience in diagnosing and treating various cardiac conditions
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
  • Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9-hour day shifts

1:5 shared call rotation

Cases: General interventional cardiology, high-risk Impella (R) supported procedures, and structural cardiology (percutaneous PFO/ASD closure)

Full support staff available

EMR: Epic

Must be board-certified or board-eligible
