We are currently seeking a skilled MD (Medical Doctor) or DO (Osteopathic Doctor) specializing in Cardiology . As a Cardiologist, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating patients with heart-related conditions, contributing to the overall health and well-being of our community. You will be involved in a variety of cardiology projects, from conducting diagnostic tests to performing complex surgical procedures, all aimed at providing top-notch cardiac care.

Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and treat patients with various heart conditions.
  • Perform cardiac procedures such as angioplasty, catheterization, and electrophysiology studies.
  • Interpret diagnostic tests including ECGs, echocardiograms, and stress tests.
  • Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans for patients.
  • Counsel patients on heart disease prevention and healthy lifestyle choices.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
  • Participate in research studies and clinical trials related to cardiology.

Requirements:

  • Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
  • Board certification in Cardiology.
  • Licenses to practice as a Cardiologist.
  • Demonstrated experience in diagnosing and treating a wide range of cardiac conditions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
  • Attention to detail and excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and education in the field of cardiology.

Schedule: 24-hour call shifts, 7a-7a

Duties: Inpatient rounding, STEMI and cardiology consults, interventional cases, and TEE procedures

EMR: Meditech

Must be board-certified
