Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care in the field of cardiology and electrophysiology
- Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of patients
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Perform advanced electrophysiological procedures
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient care
- Stay current with advancements in cardiology and electrophysiology
- Educate patients and their families on cardiac health and treatment options
- Participate in clinical research and contribute to publications as needed
Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree
- Board certification in Cardiology
- Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in cardiology, with a focus on electrophysiology
- Strong knowledge of cardiac diagnostic procedures and treatments
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and education
- Experience with electronic medical records and practice management software
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week
1.5 clinic days and 3.5 EP consult/procedure days per week
Call Requirement: 1:4 non-invasive beeper call rotation
EKG readings are required during clinic shifts
Support Staff: 3 interventional cardiologists, PAs, IM residents
Must be board-certified or board-eligible
