We are currently seeking passionate MD (Medical Doctor) or DO (Osteopathic Doctor) professionals tt. Responsibilities:

  • Respond to emergency medical calls promptly and efficiently.
  • Perform initial patient assessments and examinations.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests to aid in accurate diagnosis.
  • Administer appropriate treatment and medications following established protocols.
  • Coordinate with medical staff to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Document all medical interventions and patient progress accurately.
  • Participate in continuous training and education to stay updated on best practices.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals in multidisciplinary teams.

Requirements:

  • Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Valid license to practice as an MD or DO in the state of Newport.
  • Certification in Emergency Medicine is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of emergency medical procedures and protocols.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and make quick decisions.
  • Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Compassionate and empathetic approach towards patients and their families.

Schedule: 7a-7p, 10-9p, or 7p-7a

No call shifts required

Annual Volume: 16,000 patients

Beds: 25

Support Staff: ED physicians, nurses, general surgeons, orthopedic surgeon, OB and pediatrics on-call

Diagnostic imaging, laboratory, and transportation services available on-site 24/7

EMR: Cerner

Must be board-certified
