We are currently seeking a skilled MD (Medical Doctor) or DO (Osteopathic Doctor) specializing in Family Medicine As a crucial member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive medical care to patients and contributing to the overall well-being of the community. This position involves working on a variety of healthcare projects, focusing on preventive care, chronic disease management, and promoting healthy lifestyle choices. Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough examinations and evaluations of patients' medical histories.
- Diagnose and treat various acute and chronic illnesses.
- Develop personalized treatment plans for patients, including medication management and lifestyle recommendations.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests to aid in accurate diagnoses.
- Provide counseling and education to patients on disease prevention and health maintenance.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for all patients.
- Participate in continuous medical education to stay current with advancements in the field.
Requirements:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
- Board certification in Family Medicine.
- Valid state medical license to practice as an MD or DO.
- Demonstrated experience in providing primary care services in a clinical setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient interactions.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Commitment to upholding the highest standards of medical ethics and professionalism.
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8a-4p or 9a-5p
No call required
Setting: Primarily outpatient, some inpatient
Will work with residents
Will oversee permanent improvement activities
EMR: Allscripts, Athena, Epic
Must be board-certified or board-eligible
