We are currently seeking MD (Medical Doctor) or DO (Osteopathic Doctor) specializing in Family Medicine and Primary Care  In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing comprehensive medical care to patients, focusing on preventive care, health maintenance, and disease management. Your expertise will be vital in promoting the well-being of individuals and families in the community.

As an MD or DO in Family Medicine and Primary Care , you will be involved in a variety of projects aimed at delivering high-quality healthcare services, building strong patient-doctor relationships, and contributing to the overall health outcomes of the population. Responsibilities:

  • Conducting thorough medical examinations and assessments of patients
  • Developing personalized treatment plans and providing ongoing care
  • Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests and medical imaging
  • Managing chronic conditions and coordinating care with specialists
  • Promoting preventive healthcare measures and patient education
  • Documenting patient information accurately and timely
  • Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care
  • Participating in quality improvement initiatives and clinical research projects

Requirements:

  • Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree
  • Board certification in Family Medicine or Primary Care
  • Valid state medical license and DEA registration
  • Strong clinical skills and ability to make evidence-based decisions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Empathy and compassion towards patients and their families
  • Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8-hour shifts, 1 Saturday per month

Call Requirement: 2 months per year by phone

Patient Volume: 14 per day

Support Staff: MA

EMR: ECW

Spanish-speakers preferred, interpreters available

Must be board-certified or board-eligible
