We are currently seeking MD (Medical Doctor) and DO (Osteopathic Doctor) candidates specializing in Gastroenterology  In this role, you will play a crucial part in diagnosing and treating patients with digestive system disorders. Your expertise will be vital in providing high-quality care and improving the overall health of our patients. As a Gastroenterologist, you will be involved in a variety of projects ranging from performing endoscopic procedures to developing treatment plans for gastrointestinal conditions.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct consultations with patients to discuss symptoms and medical history.
  • Perform diagnostic procedures such as endoscopies and colonoscopies.
  • Interpret test results and make diagnoses based on findings.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with gastrointestinal issues.
  • Prescribe medications and recommend lifestyle changes to improve patient health.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Stay updated on the latest advancements in Gastroenterology and incorporate best practices into your work.
  • Provide education to patients regarding their conditions and treatment options.

Requirements:

  • Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Board certification or eligibility in Gastroenterology.
  • Valid state medical license to practice as a Gastroenterologist.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Attention to detail and excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Empathy and compassion towards patients.
  • Proficiency in using medical software and electronic health records.

About the Position:

  • Shift Information: 9a-5p
  • Schedule: Monday-Friday (1 day in clinic, 2 procedure days, and 2 IP rounding days)
  • Shared call, 1:4
  • 4 physicians & 1 APP
