We are currently seeking MD (Medical Doctor) and DO (Osteopathic Doctor) candidates specializing in Gastroenterology As a Gastroenterologist, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating disorders related to the digestive system. Your expertise is vital in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the overall success of our healthcare team. You will be involved in a variety of projects, from conducting diagnostic procedures to developing treatment plans, all aimed at improving patients' gastrointestinal health. Responsibilities:

• Conduct consultations and medical examinations to assess patients' gastrointestinal health.
• Perform diagnostic procedures such as endoscopies, colonoscopies, and biopsies.
• Interpret test results and make accurate diagnoses of digestive disorders.
• Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans for patients with gastrointestinal conditions.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated and holistic patient care.
• Stay updated on the latest advancements in Gastroenterology and incorporate best practices into clinical work.
• Provide patient education on digestive health, treatment options, and preventive measures.
• Maintain detailed and accurate medical records of patient consultations, diagnoses, and treatments.

Requirements:

• Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
• Board certification or eligibility in Gastroenterology.
• Valid state medical license to practice as a Gastroenterologist.
• Strong clinical skills in diagnosing and treating gastrointestinal disorders.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to interact with patients and colleagues.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Attention to detail and strong analytical skills for accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuous learning in the field of Gastroenterology.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8a-5p

No call required

Setting: Outpatient

Patient Census: 20 per day

Advanced GI is a plus, but not required

EMR: Epic

Must be board-certified
