Description

We are currently seeking experienced MD (Medical Doctor) or DO (Osteopathic Doctor) specializing in Gastroenterology. In this role, you will play a crucial part in diagnosing and treating patients with digestive system disorders. Your expertise will be vital in providing high-quality medical care and improving the overall health of our patients. You will be involved in a variety of gastroenterology projects, contributing to the success and growth of our healthcare team.

Responsibilities:

  • Conducting thorough examinations and evaluations of patients with gastrointestinal issues.
  • Performing diagnostic procedures such as endoscopies and colonoscopies.
  • Developing and implementing treatment plans for patients with digestive disorders.
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Keeping detailed and accurate medical records of patients' conditions and treatment plans.
  • Providing patient education on gastrointestinal health and disease prevention.
  • Participating in research projects and staying updated on advancements in gastroenterology.
  • Adhering to all medical and ethical standards in patient care.

Requirements:

  • Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Board certification in Gastroenterology.
  • Valid state medical license to practice as a Gastroenterologist.
  • Demonstrated experience in diagnosing and treating a wide range of gastrointestinal conditions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for patient interaction.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
  • Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development in the field of Gastroenterology.

8-week rotating schedule

1:6 or 1:7 call rotation

Setting: Inpatient, outpatient, and call

Cases: General GI; ERCP/EUS preferred, but not required

20 MDs and 14 APPs in the group

EMR: Cerner

Will accept new grads
