We are currently seeking a skilled MD (Medical Doctor) or DO (Osteopathic Doctor) specializing in Gastroenterology . In this role, you will play a crucial part in diagnosing and treating patients with digestive system disorders. Your expertise will be vital in providing high-quality medical care and improving the overall health of our patients. You will be involved in a variety of gastroenterology projects, from conducting diagnostic procedures to developing treatment plans.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct consultations and medical examinations to assess patients' gastrointestinal health.
- Perform diagnostic procedures such as endoscopies, colonoscopies, and imaging studies.
- Interpret test results and develop comprehensive treatment plans for patients.
- Prescribe medications and recommend lifestyle changes to manage gastrointestinal conditions.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide integrated patient care.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in Gastroenterology and incorporate best practices into clinical work.
- Educate patients about their digestive health and preventive measures.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of patient care.
Requirements:
- Medical degree (MD or DO) with specialization in Gastroenterology.
- Board certification in Gastroenterology.
- Valid state medical license to practice as a Gastroenterologist.
- Strong diagnostic skills and ability to develop effective treatment plans.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Empathy and compassion towards patients.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in medical assessments.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
pening Details:
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8a-5p
- Call Rotation: 1:3 or 1:4
- Daily Volume: 3-8 inpatients, 6-8 clinic patients, 6-10 procedures
- Patient Population: Ages 18+
- General or advanced GI cases
- ERCP preferred, not required
- Current Team: 2 MDs, 1 APP
- EMR: Epic
- Will consider new grads
- Can sponsor H1B candidates
- Must be board-certified
