As a General Surgeon, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality surgical care to patients while collaborating closely with a team of healthcare professionals. Your expertise will help ensure that our candidates are placed in roles where they can make a significant impact in their communities. 

Responsibilities

• Perform surgical procedures in accordance with established medical protocols
• Conduct pre-operative evaluations and post-operative care
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans
• Provide education and support to patients and their families
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
• Adhere to safety and compliance standards within the medical facility
• Engage in community outreach to promote health awareness

Requirements

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Valid medical license to practice in the state
• Completion of a general surgery residency program
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
• Dedication to providing high-quality patient care
• Basic knowledge of medical software and electronic health records
• Willingness to participate in continuing education and training

Schedule: 6a-3p, 7 consecutive days per month

Rotating call shifts required

Cases: General surgery and some GI, no complex cases

Must be board-certified
