Description
We are currently seeking MD (Medical Doctor) or DO (Osteopathic Doctor) Hospitalists. As a Hospitalist specializing in Internal Medicine, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive medical care to hospitalized patients. Your work is essential in ensuring the well-being and recovery of individuals in a hospital setting. You will be involved in a variety of medical projects, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough medical examinations and assessments of hospitalized patients.
- Develop and implement appropriate treatment plans for patients based on diagnosis and medical history.
- Coordinate with specialists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care to patients.
- Monitor and manage the ongoing medical needs of hospitalized patients.
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies and provide immediate care and intervention.
- Document patient progress, treatment plans, and outcomes accurately in medical records.
- Participate in patient and family education to ensure understanding of medical conditions and treatment options.
- Adhere to hospital protocols, standards, and regulations to maintain quality and safety in patient care.
Requirements:
- Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
- Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine.
- Valid state medical license and DEA registration.
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge in diagnosing and treating a wide range of medical conditions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to interact effectively with patients, families, and colleagues.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in medical documentation and record-keeping.
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development in the field of Internal Medicine.
Position Highlights:
- Shift Information: 12-hour day shifts, 6a-6p or 7a-7p
- Schedule: 7 on/7 off
- Daily Volume: 18 patients
- No procedures required
