This full-time, on-site position is located in Meadowbrook and presents a unique opportunity for entry-level professionals to join a leading staffing and recruiting firm dedicated to providing exceptional healthcare talent.

As a Medical Oncologist, you will play a crucial role in supporting our clients by identifying and recruiting top-notch medical professionals in the oncology field. This role offers the chance to work closely with healthcare facilities, understanding their specific needs and helping them build high-performing teams that deliver outstanding patient care.

 

Responsibilities

  • Identify and recruit qualified candidates for medical oncology positions
  • Conduct interviews and evaluate candidates' qualifications and fit
  • Collaborate with healthcare clients to understand their staffing needs
  • Develop and maintain relationships with medical professionals and institutions
  • Participate in career fairs and networking events to promote open positions
  • Provide guidance and support to candidates throughout the recruitment process
  • Stay informed about industry trends and advancements in oncology
  • Assist in the development of recruitment strategies and initiatives

Requirements

  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
  • Entry-level experience in medical oncology or related field
  • Strong understanding of oncology practices and protocols
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Proficiency in using recruitment software and tools
  • Passion for helping others and improving healthcare staffing solutions

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8a-5p

Call Requirement: 8-10 weeks per year by phone

Setting: 80% outpatient, 20% inpatient

State-of-the-art equipment, including a linear accelerator

Infusion center with 9 chairs and 2 beds

Cases: 50% breast cancer, but will see everything

Support Staff: 3 oncology nurse navigators, 2 clinical nurses, 2 MAs, and 1 NP in the infusion center

Breast, lung, GYN, GI, hematology, neck/prostate/lymphoma multidisciplinary teams

Can join breast, lung, or general tumor boards

Must be board-certified
