We are currently seeking a skilled MD (Medical Doctor) or DO (Osteopathic Doctor) specializing in Nephrology In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing specialized care to patients with kidney-related conditions. Your expertise will be instrumental in diagnosing, treating, and managing various kidney diseases, ensuring the well-being of our patients.

As an MD or DO in Nephrology , you will be involved in a wide range of projects aimed at improving patient outcomes, conducting research, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and treat patients with kidney diseases and disorders.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans for patients with renal conditions.
  • Monitor and manage patients undergoing dialysis or kidney transplant procedures.
  • Conduct regular assessments and follow-ups to track patients' progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as nephrology nurses and dietitians, to provide holistic care to patients.
  • Participate in research studies and clinical trials related to Nephrology.
  • Stay updated on the latest advancements and best practices in Nephrology.
  • Educate patients and their families about kidney health, disease prevention, and treatment options.

Requirements:

  • Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
  • Board certification in Nephrology.
  • Valid state medical license to practice as a Nephrologist.
  • Demonstrated experience in diagnosing and treating various kidney diseases.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient interaction.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
  • Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care.

Schedule: Monday-Friday

1:4 remote call rotation, light volume

Setting: Inpatient and outpatient

Annual Volume: 300-250 kidney transplants

Duties: Kidney transplants, pre- and post-op management

Support Staff: 8 MDs, APRN, full support structure/office team

EMR: Epic

Required Experience: 3+ years

Transplant nephrology fellowship required

Must be board-certified
