We are currently seeking a skilled MD (Medical Doctor) or DO (Osteopathic Doctor) specializing in Neurology t In this role, you will play a crucial part in diagnosing and treating patients with neurological disorders. You will be involved in a variety of projects focused on neurological assessments, treatment planning, and ongoing patient care.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough neurological examinations to diagnose patients accurately.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients with neurological disorders.
  • Monitor and adjust treatment regimens based on patient progress and feedback.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care to patients.
  • Educate patients and their families on neurological conditions and treatment options.
  • Participate in research projects and clinical trials related to neurology.
  • Stay updated on the latest advancements and best practices in neurological care.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant medical standards, regulations, and protocols.

Requirements:

  • Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Board certification in Neurology.
  • Valid state medical license to practice as an MD or DO specializing in Neurology.
  • Demonstrated experience in diagnosing and treating a wide range of neurological conditions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effectively interacting with patients and colleagues.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based healthcare setting.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuous learning in the field of Neurology.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8-hour day shifts

Rotating stroke call required

Inpatient and outpatient neurology consults

Teaching and research opportunities available

Team Structure: 8 neurologists currently

EMR: Allscripts, Athena, Epic

Must be board-certified or board-eligible
