We are currently seeking a skilled MD (Medical Doctor) or DO (Osteopathic Doctor) specializing in Neurology  In this role, you will play a crucial part in diagnosing and treating patients with neurological disorders. Your expertise will be vital in providing high-quality care and improving the overall well-being of our patients. You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of challenging cases and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive treatment plans.

As an MD/DO in Neurology, you will be at the forefront of patient care, utilizing your knowledge and skills to make a significant impact on individuals' lives. You will be involved in conducting neurological examinations, interpreting diagnostic tests, prescribing medications, and recommending therapies to address a wide range of neurological conditions. Responsibilities:

  • Conduct neurological assessments and examinations to diagnose patients' conditions.
  • Interpret diagnostic tests such as MRIs, CT scans, and EEGs to determine the nature and extent of neurological disorders.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients with neurological conditions.
  • Prescribe medications and monitor their effectiveness and side effects.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and treatment strategies.
  • Educate patients and their families about neurological conditions, treatment options, and preventive measures.
  • Participate in research activities and clinical trials related to neurology.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for all patients.

Requirements:

  • Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
  • Board certification in Neurology.
  • Valid state medical license to practice as a Neurologist.
  • Demonstrated experience in diagnosing and treating neurological disorders.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical setting.
  • Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
  • Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week

Call Requirement: 91 days per year

Duties: Ambulatory clinic sessions, inpatient rounds, stroke consults, and administrative tasks

Will help develop and grow the neuro stroke program

Support Staff: Chief, 4 MDs, 2 APPs

Rounding with medical students and residents/fellows required

Must be board-certified
