We are currently seeking a skilled MD (Medical Doctor) or DO (Osteopathic Doctor) specializing in Neurology. In this role, you will play a crucial part in diagnosing and treating patients with neurological disorders. Your expertise will be vital in providing high-quality care and improving the overall well-being of our patients. Responsibilities:

  • Conduct neurological examinations and assessments to diagnose patients' conditions.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as MRIs, CT scans, and EEGs.
  • Prescribe medications and monitor their effectiveness.
  • Perform procedures such as lumbar punctures and nerve conduction studies.
  • Educate patients and their families about neurological conditions and treatment options.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
  • Participate in research projects and clinical trials related to neurology.

Requirements:

  • Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
  • Board certification in Neurology.
  • Valid state medical license to practice in the designated area.
  • Strong clinical skills and knowledge of neurological disorders.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment.
  • Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
  • Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8-hour shifts

Beeper Call: 7 weekends per year, 4 weeknights per month

Setting: Outpatient-focused

Cases: Bread & butter neurology, but can support a subspecialty 

Must be board-certified or board-eligible
