As an Ob/Gyn practitioner, you will play a vital role in delivering comprehensive reproductive health care to women, including prenatal, delivery, and postnatal care. You will work closely with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure the highest standards of patient care and contribute to the well-being of our community.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality obstetric and gynecological care to patients
- Conduct examinations, diagnose conditions, and develop treatment plans
- Manage prenatal care, labor, delivery, and postpartum care
- Perform surgical procedures as necessary
- Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals
- Educate patients on health maintenance and disease prevention
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Stay current with medical advancements and best practices in Ob/Gyn
Requirements
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
- Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Valid medical license to practice in the state
- Experience in a clinical setting, preferably in Ob/Gyn
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Commitment to providing compassionate patient care
- Willingness to participate in ongoing professional development
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8-hour day shifts
Beeper call shifts required, minimal callback
Patient Volume: 14-17 per day
Cases: GYN only, no deliveries
Ortho MACO system
Support Staff: Additional MD
EMR: Meditech
Must be board-certified
