In this role, you will provide comprehensive care to women throughout their lifespan, including prenatal, perinatal, and postnatal care. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality healthcare services while working closely with our dedicated team of professionals. Your expertise will help drive our strategic goals and maintain our commitment to excellence in the staffing and recruiting industry.

 

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality obstetric and gynecological care to patients
  • Conduct routine exams, screenings, and preventive care
  • Manage labor and delivery processes
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop patient care plans
  • Educate patients on health maintenance and disease prevention
  • Perform surgical procedures as necessary
  • Maintain accurate and timely patient records
  • Stay updated on advancements in the Ob/Gyn field and best practices

Requirements

  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
  • Valid medical license to practice in New York
  • Experience in obstetrics and gynecology preferred
  • Strong clinical skills and decision-making abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
  • Commitment to providing compassionate patient care
  • Willingness to work flexible hours as needed

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8a-5p

1:2 weeknight call rotation, second call to nurse midwife

Daily Volume: 18-20 patients per provider

Support Staff: 3 midwives, 2 WHNPs

Must be board-certified
