We are currently seeking passionate MD (Medical Doctor) or DO (Osteopathic Doctor) specializing in Pediatrics.  In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing medical care to infants, children, and adolescents. Your expertise will be vital in diagnosing illnesses, prescribing treatments, and promoting overall wellness in young patients. You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of pediatric cases, making a significant impact on the health and development of children.

As an MD or DO specializing in Pediatrics , you will be at the forefront of pediatric healthcare, working on diverse projects that focus on preventive care, immunizations, growth and development monitoring, and managing acute and chronic illnesses in children. Your role is essential in ensuring the well-being of young patients and supporting families in their healthcare journey. Responsibilities:

  • Conducting physical examinations of pediatric patients
  • Diagnosing and treating common childhood illnesses and injuries
  • Developing and implementing treatment plans for pediatric conditions
  • Providing guidance on nutrition, hygiene, and disease prevention for children
  • Monitoring growth and development milestones in pediatric patients
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for children
  • Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests such as blood work and imaging studies
  • Communicating effectively with young patients and their families to address health concerns

Requirements:

  • Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree
  • Board certification or eligibility in Pediatrics
  • Valid state medical license to practice as an MD or DO
  • Strong knowledge of pediatric diseases, treatments, and best practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-based healthcare environment
  • Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
  • Compassionate and patient-centered approach to pediatric care

Schedule: 8-hour shifts, Monday-Friday

1:4 inpatient call rotation

Setting: Outpatient with inpatient call

Patient Volume: 16-20 per day

Bread & butter pediatric cases

Will attend all c-sections and high-risk deliveries

EMR: Cerner

Must be board-certified or board-eligible
