In this role, you will leverage your expertise in radiology to assess and interpret medical imaging, contributing to accurate diagnoses and patient care. Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures and interpret results accurately
- Consult with physicians and healthcare teams on patient imaging needs
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality assurance measures
- Stay updated with advancements in radiology techniques and technologies
- Participate in the training and mentorship of junior radiology staff
- Engage in continuous education and professional development
- Contribute to departmental quality improvement initiatives
- Maintain accurate records of patient imaging and findings
Requirements
- MD or DO degree with board certification in Radiology
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a clinical radiology setting
- Proficient in various imaging modalities (X-ray, MRI, CT, Ultrasound)
- Strong analytical and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and ethical standards
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30a-5p
Call Requirement: 6 weekends per year
Setting: 100% remote
Daily Volume: 90-100 RVUs
Cases: Primarily general diagnostic/body imaging, can include MSK/neuro if interested
Team Structure: 9 partners
EMR: Epic
PACS System: Sectra
Dictation: Powerscribe 1
Workstation provided
Must be board-certified
