Description

In this role, you will play a crucial part in diagnosing and treating patients through medical imaging. Your expertise will be vital in providing accurate and timely interpretations of various radiological studies, contributing to the overall healthcare delivery process. As a Radiologist, you will be involved in a wide range of projects, from conducting diagnostic procedures to collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best patient care outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Interpret and analyze diagnostic imaging studies such as X-rays, MRIs, CT scans, ultrasounds, and mammograms.
  • Communicate findings effectively with referring physicians to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment planning.
  • Ensure the quality and accuracy of radiological reports and maintain detailed patient records.
  • Stay updated on the latest advancements and techniques in radiology to enhance diagnostic capabilities.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care for patients.
  • Participate in quality assurance activities to uphold high standards of patient care and safety.
  • Adhere to regulatory requirements and ethical standards in the practice of radiology.
  • Contribute to teaching and training programs for medical students, residents, and fellows.

Requirements:

  • Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Board certification or eligibility in Radiology.
  • Valid state medical license and DEA registration.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
  • Proficiency in using radiology information systems and PACS.

Position Highlights:

  • Shift information: 8-hour day shifts
  • Schedule: Monday-Friday for partners, flexible for non-partners
  • Partners do call, 12 weekends/year
  • Daily Volume: 65 RVUs
  • 50% Neuro | 50% Diagnostic w/ light IR
  • EMR: Epic
  • Must be board certified
  • Will accept new grads
