Description
In this role, you will play a crucial part in diagnosing and treating patients through medical imaging. Your expertise will be vital in providing accurate and timely interpretations of various radiological studies, contributing to the overall healthcare delivery system. As a Radiologist, you will be involved in a wide range of projects, from conducting diagnostic procedures to consulting with other healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities:
- Interpret and analyze diagnostic imaging studies such as X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, ultrasounds, and mammograms.
- Communicate findings effectively with referring physicians to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Ensure the quality and accuracy of radiological reports while adhering to established protocols and guidelines.
- Perform image-guided procedures such as biopsies, aspirations, and drainages when necessary.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in radiology technology and techniques to enhance diagnostic capabilities.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care and support clinical decision-making.
- Participate in quality assurance activities to maintain high standards of patient care and safety.
- Contribute to teaching and training programs for medical students, residents, and fellows.
Requirements:
- Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
- Board certification or eligibility in Radiology.
- Valid state medical license and DEA registration.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic healthcare environment.
- Proficiency in using radiology information systems (RIS) and picture archiving and communication systems (PACS).
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
Schedule: 7:30a-4:30p, Monday-Friday

30 studies a day (heavy cancer focus)
Cross-sectional, body, and abdominal
80-90% clinical for staff | 40% clinical and 60% teaching, research, and academics for faculty
Academic experience not required
Must be board-certified
