Description

We are currently seeking MD (Medical Doctor) and DO (Osteopathic Doctor) Radiologists t. In this role, you will play a crucial part in diagnosing and treating patients through medical imaging. Your expertise will be vital in providing accurate and timely interpretations of various radiology procedures, contributing to the overall healthcare delivery system. As a Radiologist, you will be involved in a wide range of projects, from conducting diagnostic tests to consulting with other healthcare professionals, all aimed at improving patient outcomes and well-being.

Responsibilities:

  • Interpret and analyze diagnostic imaging studies such as X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, and ultrasounds.
  • Communicate findings effectively with referring physicians to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment planning.
  • Ensure the quality and accuracy of radiology reports while adhering to established protocols and guidelines.
  • Perform image-guided procedures such as biopsies and drainage under imaging modalities.
  • Stay updated on the latest advancements and technologies in the field of radiology.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care to patients.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance radiology services.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in healthcare practice.

Requirements:

  • Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Board certification or eligibility in Radiology.
  • Valid state medical license to practice as a Radiologist.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail for accurate image interpretation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate with healthcare teams.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment.
  • Knowledge of radiation safety protocols and practices.
  • Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development in the field of radiology.

Position Details:

  • Shift Information: 10-hour shifts (7a-5p and 12p-10p)
  • Schedule: 7 on/7 off
  • 7 shifts per month must be onsite, 8 shifts per month can be remote
  • No call shifts
  • 80-100 cases per shift
  • Body MR cases required
  • Work station provided
  • EMR: Epic
  • Board certification required
  • Fellowship is not required but is preferred
