Description

We are currently seeking experienced MD (Medical Doctor) or DO (Osteopathic Doctor) Radiologists (Chief of Trauma Surgery). As a Radiologist, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating patients through medical imaging. Your expertise will be vital in providing accurate and timely interpretations of various imaging tests, such as X-rays, MRIs, and CT scans. Responsibilities:

  • Interpret and analyze diagnostic imaging tests to provide accurate diagnoses.
  • Consult with referring physicians to discuss diagnostic results and collaborate on patient care.
  • Ensure the safety and comfort of patients during imaging procedures.
  • Stay updated on advancements in radiology technology and techniques.
  • Maintain detailed patient records and reports.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss complex cases.
  • Adhere to all regulatory and safety standards in the interpretation and reporting of imaging studies.
  • Provide guidance and supervision to radiologic technologists and other staff.

Requirements:

  • Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Board certification in Radiology.
  • Valid state medical license to practice as a Radiologist.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in diagnostic interpretations.
  • Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development in the field of Radiology.

About the Position:

  • Level I trauma center
  • Shift Information: 7a-4p and 4p-11p
  • Schedule: 3.5 clinical days per week and 1.5 days of admin
  • No call
  • Will attend meetings and oversee the department
  • Predominately CT, will have a good volume of US and Xray as well
  • EMR: Epic
  • Must be board-certified
