Description
We are currently seeking an Associate MD (Medical Doctor) or DO (Osteopathic Doctor) specializing in Radiology . In this role, you will play a crucial part in diagnosing and treating patients through the use of medical imaging techniques. Your expertise will be vital in providing accurate and timely diagnoses, contributing to the overall success of our healthcare team. You will be involved in a variety of projects, from interpreting X-rays and MRIs to performing interventional procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Interpret imaging results to diagnose illnesses or injuries.
- Perform and interpret diagnostic procedures such as X-rays, CT scans, and MRIs.
- Consult with other physicians to determine the best course of treatment for patients.
- Ensure the safety and comfort of patients during imaging procedures.
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in radiology technology and techniques.
- Communicate effectively with patients to explain procedures and results.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to medical legal requirements.
Requirements:
- Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
- Board certification in Radiology.
- Valid state medical license to practice as a Radiologist.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in diagnostic interpretations.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and education in the field of Radiology.
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7a-5p
Rotating weeknight and weekend call, every ~9 weeks
Cases: 100% IR, including biopsies and complex reads
Workstation provided
