Description

We are currently seeking MD (Medical Doctor) and DO (Osteopathic Doctor) Radiologists  In this role, you will play a crucial part in diagnosing and treating patients through medical imaging. Your expertise will be vital in providing accurate and timely interpretations of various radiological studies, contributing to the overall healthcare delivery system. As a Radiologist, you will be involved in a wide range of projects, from conducting diagnostic procedures to collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best patient care outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Interpret and analyze diagnostic imaging studies such as X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, ultrasounds, and mammograms.
  • Communicate findings effectively with referring physicians to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment planning.
  • Ensure the quality and accuracy of radiology reports while adhering to established protocols and guidelines.
  • Perform image-guided procedures such as biopsies, aspirations, and drainages when necessary.
  • Stay updated on the latest advancements and technologies in the field of radiology to enhance diagnostic capabilities.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care and contribute to patient management decisions.
  • Participate in quality assurance activities to maintain high standards of patient care and safety.
  • Contribute to teaching and training programs for medical students, residents, and other healthcare professionals.

Requirements:

  • Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Board certification or eligibility in Radiology.
  • Valid state medical license and DEA registration.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment.
  • Proficiency in using radiology information systems and PACS.
  • Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30a-5p

1:10 weekend call rotation, occasional 5p-8p call

Setting: Hybrid; 50% onsite, 50% remote

Average Daily Volume: 80-90 RVUs

Cases: Diagnostic, light IR, neuro, and mammo; some body or MSK

Team: 9 other radiologists

EMR: Epic

Must be board-certified
