Description
We are currently seeking experienced MD (Medical Doctor) and DO (Osteopathic Doctor) professionals. As a Radiologist, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating patients using medical imaging technologies. Your expertise will be vital in providing accurate and timely diagnoses, contributing to the overall healthcare delivery system. You will be involved in a variety of projects, from interpreting X-rays and MRIs to performing interventional procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Interpret diagnostic imaging studies such as X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, and ultrasounds.
- Perform and interpret interventional procedures including biopsies and drainage.
- Consult with referring physicians to discuss diagnoses and treatment plans.
- Ensure the quality and accuracy of radiology reports.
- Stay current with advancements in radiology technology and techniques.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Adhere to safety protocols and radiation protection standards.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss complex cases.
Requirements:
- Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
- Board certification in Radiology.
- Valid state medical license to practice as a Radiologist.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in diagnostic interpretations.
- Proficiency in using radiology information systems and PACS.
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8a-5p
No call, nights, evenings, or weekends
Setting: Onsite
Annual Volume: ~12k RVUs
Cases: Mammography, nuclear, light IR procedures (paras, thoras, CT, and biopsies), general diagnostic
Must be board-certified or board-eligible
