Description
We are currently seeking a skilled MD (Medical Doctor) or DO (Osteopathic Doctor) specializing in Radiology . In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing accurate diagnostic imaging services to patients, contributing to their overall healthcare and treatment plans. You will be involved in a variety of projects, from interpreting X-rays and MRIs to performing interventional procedures, all aimed at delivering high-quality patient care and outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Interpret diagnostic imaging studies such as X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, and ultrasounds.
- Perform and interpret interventional radiology procedures including biopsies, drainages, and angiograms.
- Consult with referring physicians to discuss imaging findings and collaborate on patient treatment plans.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of patients undergoing radiologic procedures.
- Stay current with advancements in radiology technology and techniques.
- Document and maintain accurate patient records and imaging reports.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss complex cases and treatment strategies.
- Provide guidance and supervision to radiologic technologists and other support staff.
Requirements:
- Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
- Board certification in Radiology.
- Valid state medical license to practice Radiology.
- Demonstrated experience in interpreting a wide range of diagnostic imaging studies.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
- Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development in the field of Radiology.
Schedule: 10p-7a, 7 on/14 off
