Description
We are currently seeking entry-level MD (Medical Doctor) and DO (Osteopathic Doctor) candidates As a Radiologist, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating patients using medical imaging technologies. This position is vital to our company as it ensures accurate and timely diagnoses, contributing to the overall well-being of our patients. You will be involved in a variety of projects, from interpreting X-rays and MRIs to performing interventional procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Interpret diagnostic imaging studies such as X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, and ultrasounds.
- Perform and interpret interventional procedures including biopsies and drainage.
- Consult with referring physicians to provide diagnostic support.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
- Stay current with advancements in radiology technology and practices.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Adhere to safety protocols and quality assurance standards.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient cases.
Requirements:
- Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
- Valid medical license to practice as a Radiologist.
- Strong knowledge of radiology principles and techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make quick decisions.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.
- Willingness to continuously learn and adapt to new technologies.
- Ability to work effectively in a team setting.
Schedule: 10a-7p or 5p-1a, 7 on/7 off
No call requirement
Setting: 100% remote
Will read for two locations
Daily Census: 100-150 cases
Case Mix: 50% x-ray, 35% CT, 15% US, and some MR
EMR: Cerner
PACS: Synapse Fuji
Dictation: Powerscribe 360
Workstation provided
