Description
We are currently seeking an experienced MD (Medical Doctor) or DO (Osteopathic Doctor) specializing in Radiology. As a Radiologist, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating patients using medical imaging techniques. Your expertise will be vital in providing accurate and timely diagnoses, contributing to the overall well-being of our patients.
In this role, you will be involved in a variety of projects, including interpreting X-rays, MRIs, CT scans, and other imaging procedures to help guide patient care. Your work will directly impact treatment decisions, surgical planning, and patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Interpret and analyze diagnostic imaging studies to diagnose illnesses and injuries.
- Consult with referring physicians to discuss diagnoses and treatment plans.
- Perform image-guided procedures such as biopsies and drainage.
- Ensure the quality and accuracy of radiologic interpretations.
- Stay current with advancements in radiology technology and techniques.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss complex cases.
- Adhere to all safety and regulatory standards in the practice of radiology.
Requirements:
- Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
- Board certification in Radiology.
- Valid state medical license to practice as a Radiologist.
- Strong knowledge of radiologic procedures and techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy in diagnostic interpretations.
- Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development in the field of radiology.
Schedule: 8-hour shifts, Monday-Friday
