We are currently seeking a skilled MD (Medical Doctor) or DO (Osteopathic Doctor) specializing in Internal Medicine . In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing high-quality medical care to patients, diagnosing illnesses, developing treatment plans, and promoting overall wellness. As an MD or DO in Internal Medicine, you will be involved in a variety of projects aimed at delivering comprehensive healthcare services, managing chronic conditions, and fostering patient education. Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough examinations of patients to assess their health and diagnose medical conditions.
  • Develop and implement effective treatment plans for various illnesses and injuries.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests to obtain more information for accurate diagnoses.
  • Monitor and manage chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, and heart disease.
  • Provide guidance and support to patients on preventive care and healthy lifestyle choices.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for all patients.
  • Stay informed about the latest advancements in Internal Medicine and incorporate new knowledge into practice.

Requirements:

  • Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Board certification in Internal Medicine.
  • Valid state medical license to practice in the designated area.
  • Excellent diagnostic and decision-making skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic healthcare environment.
  • Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in medical documentation.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8a-5p, split into a morning and afternoon clinic session

Call Requirement: 2-week off-hour beeper call, twice per year

Will participate in resident conferences, which include delivering lectures

Will supervise 2-4 residents per clinic session

Must be board-certified or board-eligible
